Instead, they will immediately dip into the hard-earned profits of that restaurant. They will do it regardless of whether it is warranted.

In case you are wondering whether or not this situation is just hearsay, a Grubhub employee recently confirmed this new policy with us, stating in an email:

Are you the sort of owner who meticulously pours through your transactions? Good.
